Linda Gilliland

Liz is a native Virginian and transferred to Southern Indiana with her husband’s job relocation with Norfolk Southern.  She has worked in the Adult Education field in Southern Indiana for the last two and a half years as an Intake Coordinator.  Currently, she does all of Region 10’s office management, marketing and media publications, coordinates all new intake scheduling, is the co-chair of the graduation committee, and assists the program director in other various administrative duties.  Her educational career entails an Associates in Applied Science degree in General Studies at Mountain Empire Community College and a Bachelor of Art degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia Intermont College.  She has over 10+ years in the education field.  She was a class member of Leadership Harrison County, Class of 2015-16. 

Liz serves on the Leadership Harrison County Board of Directors.  She serves as the Fundraising/Outreach Chair for Leadership Harrison County Board of Directors.  She is currently the President of the South Harrison Community Development Board in Elizabeth, Indiana.  Liz also serves on the Harrison County Lifelong Learning Board of Directors.  Liz is also a Premier Designs Jewelry/Style Consultant.  She is enthusiastic about her community and pursuing volunteer work.  She actively volunteers at her church, through WAY-FM Radio Outreach/Street Team at local events, and other community functions.  Liz resides in the South Harrison community with her husband, Tim and son, Jacob and their three dogs - Mason, Jax and Graycee.

Nikki is a graduate of North Harrison High School, and longtime resident of Harrison County. She graduated from Leadership Harrison County in 2018 and worked to reestablish the Youth Leadership Harrison County program. Nikki is also a member of Corydon Rotary Club and an Ambassador for Harrison County Chamber of Commerce. She has a career in long-term care and serves as the Admissions Director at Harrison Healthcare Center. Her goal is to return to school and complete her degree in Business Administration while enjoying time with her two children Christopher and Cora, and husband Adam.

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in Human Resources Management from Central Michigan University. In 2011, she completed her Master of Science Management degree with a focus on Strategic Management through Indiana Wesleyan University. After working in human resources management for four years, Lisa changed careers and spent six and a half years as a United States congressional staff member serving Representatives’ Ed Pease, Brian Kerns and John Hostettler. Immediately prior to joining the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County, Lisa served as Director of Public Policy and Research for the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce. In June of 2013, Lisa completed professional certification at the Institute of Organizational Management. Institute for Organization Management is the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

Lisa Long currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Indiana Chamber Executives Association and previously served as President of the Corydon Rotary Club, served as Fundraising Chair on the Board of Directors for the Harrison County Hospital Foundation and has previously served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Harrison County and was previously a member of the Corydon Lions Club. Lisa and her three children Chase Daylee, Norma Jean and Emma Grace reside in Northern Harrison County.

Annette is an educator with many years of experience in various capacities from private to University level.  She has been in charge of programs both professionally and as a volunteer.  She has served Purdue Extension in the role of county Extension director and now teaches Health and Human Sciences and Community Development curriculum for Purdue University, Harrison County Extension.

Tom Fields currently holds the position of Director of Communications and Business Expansion for Harrison County Economic Development.  As Director of Communications and Business Expansion, he keeps close touch with Harrison County businesses to look for opportunities to connect them with tools that will help them prosper in Harrison County.  

Prior to Harrison County Economic Development, Tom served 8 years as business owner in Louisville.  He also served 10 years in the financial services industry as a financial advisor.  Tom obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Indiana University Southeast (1997) and is currently pursuing his MBA from IUS.  He is a graduate of Corydon Central High School.

Angel relocated to Southern Indiana by way of Southern California in 1989 and became a resident of Harrison County the fall of 2015. She is the Director of Sales at the Hampton by Hilton in Corydon. Angel brings nearly three decades of experience in hospitality, sales, marketing, and business development.   

Angel’s passion for Harrison County is apparent in her involvement and service. She chairs the Ambassador Committee for the Chamber of Commerce, and the Promotions and Marketing Committee for Main Street Corydon. She assists with events such as Light up Corydon, Corydon Capitol Days, and Art at the Old Capitol. Angel is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Harrison County and chairs the board’s Alumni Committee. Angel is married to David Frizzell and has one son Catlin, daughter in law Becca and three grandchildren, Simon, Kaylee, and Vincent.

Isaac is a graduate of Corydon Central High School who has grown up in Harrison County. He graduated with a degree in Marketing from Indiana University Southeast in 2012. Isaac is an agent at D.E. Brown INC Insurance and also serves as the Webster Township Trustee. In his free time he is pursuing his passions for the outdoors taking full advantage of all the local options to trail run, kayak, mountain bike, and camp.

Deneen is a long-standing resident of Harrison County.  She is a graduate of Spencerian College of Business and has her PHR in Human Resources.  She is currently employed at Harrison REMC as the Executive Assistant/HR.  Deneen is passionate about Board Development and currently serves on the Leadership Harrison County Board as well as the South Harrison Community Center Board.  In her free time, she loves to volunteer at her church and school, hike, and tell people about the great things Harrison County has to offer.

She resides in the South Harrison community with her husband, Mark and two sons, Logan and Lucas.

Derrick graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Indianapolis in 2010 earning a Bachelor of Science with a major in accounting and a minor in computer information systems.  He is continuing his education at Indiana University Southeast in pursuit of the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Science in Strategic Finance degrees.  Derrick has worked for the Harrison County Community Foundation since August 2011, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer.  As a 2013 Leadership Harrison County graduate, he is proud to be a member of the Leadership Harrison County Board of Directors serving as Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair.  Derrick resides in northern Harrison County with his son, Paxton.

Sean serves as a senior performance consultant in training and organizational development in the architecture and engineering industry. He has experience in the analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation of performance development systems for organizations, their managers and employees.  His primary responsibility is to the Information Technology Group at HDR, where his 28 years of technology experience affords him the opportunity to design, deliver and support technology training across the organization.
Recently, he has concentrated on the design and delivery of performance enhancement services including the development of training courses, leadership development, and facilitation across the United States. He currently serves as course manager for many of HDR’s workshops. These workshops include People Styles, People Styles – Applied, and Service Excellence.  Additionally, Sean Davis facilitates People Styles, Effective Speaking Skills, Leadership Development, Stress Management, Emotional Intelligence, Change Management, Communication, and Time Management training company wide. He received his degree in Business Administration from the College of San Mateo.

Sean is also a YMCA of Harrison County board member, a Great Door Ministries board member, the Pastor of One Church, and the Director of Granny's Good Samaritan Center.

A graduate of Lanesville High School and a Harrison County resident nearly all of his life, Matt graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisville in 2008. He is a former United States Marine of ten years who served multiple duties, including a deployment to Afghanistan. Matt is currently employed at Farm Credit Mid-America as a Loan Officer and is also the owner of Squared Away Properties, LLC. In addition to the Leadership Harrison County board, he also sits on the Harrison County Farm Bureau board, is involved with the Lanesville Heritage weekend committee and is a Financial Master Coach for Ramsey Solutions. Matt and his wife Janna and they have three daughters.
